One of the stunning man-made sights of Transcarpathia is the vintage wooden church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The exact date of construction of this church is still unknown, but presumably it is the second half of the eighteenth century. Every year a huge number of tourists come here to admire the biggest mountain lake in Ukraine and enjoy stunning picturesque landscapes around. Literally not far from Lake Sidevir is another highly popular highlight of the Raisin Transcarpathia - the picturesque village of Ten Museums. There are exactly 365 windows in the castle, each of which represents the day of the year.

Then in the castle of 52 rooms, corresponding to the number of weeks per year and 12 entrances for every month of the year. Shenborin Castle is surrounded by a wonderful English park having an area of 19 hectares in which the Samshats grow, Capalpi, Canadian ate, pink beech, Japanese cherries and many other incredibly interesting plants. But, perhaps, the highlight of this park is still a pond, with its outlines exactly reminding the territory of the then Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Approximately 20 kilometers from the Transcarpathian city of Uzhgorod on the territory of the village is an amazing grayiean castle, which belonged to the Order of the Templars. Actually, the name of the village has already gone from the name of the castle. Once upon a time in the Middle Ages, this famous monastic order managed to get the right to trade in salt from Solotvino, which is considered a period of precious commodity. The Templars at that time quickly managed to build along the entire "salt" path connecting the Carpathians and Europe, to strengthen the customs posts.
There were also small garrisons that carefully guarded this road. The ruins of the Serednyansky Castle are essentially one of these defensive structures. The castle was built in 1146 as a sentigious tower and was not intended for a long stay. But in fact, if necessary, he could turn into a powerful defense point, since he had an excellent review and the possibility for conducting a circular shelling. Then around the medieval castle there was a system of pvs and shafts, reinforced with a stone wall with cylindrical corner towers. Unfortunately, many traces of these fortification facilities are almost almost erased. But despite such destructive changes, the Seednya Castle still remains one of the most important attractions of Transcarpathia.
You should not also forget that in Transcarpathia you can not only travel with interest, but also to improve your health, that is, taking baths in thermal sources.
