Planning a trip to Italy, they came across completely accidentally. A bus from Rimini to Rome did a stop in this coastal town, so they decided why not stay there for several days.
We arrived in Pescaru late, got to housing on the dark, so there was no opportunity to appreciate the city. For accommodation chose the old part of the city. They lived near the airport, so airplanes were constantly taking off above the head. I traveled for a very long time because of the poor quality of the roads and the complete lack of sidewalks. At the beginning, they even regretted that they came there.
The next day, immediately went to the beach. Although it was necessary to go about 40 minutes, they still decided not to spend money.
The beach itself pays for all the difficulty of daisy.
The sea is clean, no waves, garbage and jellyfish, in those places where sun loungers are, the sand is clean. There are almost no tourists, rest is calm and comfortable. No one forbids lying just on the sand, without buying a chaise longue. On the equipped beaches there are breakings, but there it is just swimming worse, as water is muddy due to stagnant dirt.
Near the beach there are drinking fountains. In general, in Italy, the water is very clean, you do not need to spend money on the water, you can simply take a bottle and gain water from such fountains. Near the beach there is a big park, more similar to some kind of reserve. Beggar running everywhere and the wild blackberries grow up. Day can be hidden there from the heat.
In Pescara, we tried the most delicious Gelato, and also visited the restaurant Tavernett Rainery, where only 21 euros can order assorted fried fish, fish bakal in the batter and a carpaccio of two fish species. Everything is very delicious.
In the evening, our part of the city just died. It was possible to walk to a beautiful pedestrian bridge, next to which the ferris wheel stands, but there are few people there.
In general, at this half of the city, some neglection reigns. It seems that the resort flourished for 2009, when Mediterranean games were held there, and then everyone just forgot about this resort. A lot of abandoned buildings, if there is, then there are very few of them and they are all expensive.
The new part of the city is more suitable for those who like to actively spend time. There are many shops and cafes for every taste and wallet. There, accidentally came at the cafe, where almost everything was 1 euro. A variety of pizza options are proposed to choose from visitors. It is cut off with scissors with large squares and heated in the oven, therefore, even after heating, the pizza crisp and tasty.
In general, Pescara is worth trying to at least once. The main thing is closely attentively to the choice of place of residence, so as not to spend a lot of time on hiking to the beach.
