Lviv is truly unique and the most romantic city in the West of Ukraine. Here the architectural structures of different historical eras are peacefully adjacent. Arriving in the very heart of Lviv - the old city, you get into the fairy tale hung over legends and historical facts.
Traveling through the cities of Western Ukraine, Lviv must necessarily be included in the excursion program. Here is such a colossal number of architectural monuments, museums, historical places, which is just breathtaking.
In mid-August, buying train tickets, we went to a three-day trip to the most wonderful and romantic city of Ukraine. I booked housing through the Internet, after conclusing with the hostess, it was very lucky that directly, and not through the broker. Our apartment was in a historic, old house, 100 meters from the Opera House.
It was about 9 am, and we are ready to get acquainted with the city and its attractions, but first of all, of course, have a coffee with cinnamon and to eat, something out of fresh baking.
Armed with the Internet Guide, we went to the Market Square - the very center of the Old Town. A feature of all Western cities, there is a town hall, blocked on the square. On the sides of the building you can see the four Greek gods that protect the world and the love of citizens.
First of all, being on the square, I advise all tourists to go to the information center, it is located on the side of the central entrance to the town hall. Here you will be informed with useful information about excursions, attractions, cafes and restaurants, as well as help you choose a hotel or hostel. But the most important thing will provide a map of the city and will prompt the route. And so, we have cards on our hands, we also drank coffee, in a unique cafe for the extraction of coffee from under the ground.
Having developed a trip route at home, we travel to a clock sightseeing tour of the most famous sights on a city excursion tram. Here it is possible to listen to the choice of a story in Ukrainian, Russian and English. After such a trip, it is very easy in the future, it will be determined where we would like to once again visit, as we already know the names of buildings, cathedrals and streets.
After the excursion, we immediately go to the Dominican Cathedral, his beauty and greatness fall in love with yourself at first glance, and you walked in the evening, then you will see a beautiful backlight, in the rays of which the cathedral acquires a truly romantic look.
Stone around the narrow streets, paved by a paving, considering the vintage stony around the market area, the day flew not noticeable. It's time to ride to the beautiful town hall and watch the old town lights lights.
This is an unforgettable impression, look from a bird's eye view of the churches, cathedrals, houses with a tiled, Opera House, I advise everyone to ride exactly in the late afternoon, as fewer tourists and less fuss.
The next day, we traditionally began with a visit to another remarkable Venetian coffee shop, the oldest in the city, drinking fragrant coffee and breakfast, went in detail to inspect the Kamenitsa, Arsenal, Armenian Church, the Italian courtyard, the Church of the Jesuit, and visited the market of embroidered shirts and antiques. . In the late afternoon, we went to the tram in the church of St. Elzhbyt, which is located next to the railway station.
The day was very saturated, in the evening there was enough strength to relax at the opera theater and admire the evening fountains. The third our day was devoted to the golden horseshoe Lviv, namely, Oleskom, Podgorotsky and the Zolochevsky castle. Well, this is a completely different story, I will write about it later.
