Corsica is an amazing island in the Mediterranean, a wild and excellent place, which is often called the rock in the sea. The coast with harsh cliffs, wonderful beaches, the purest sea. Mount Corsica is a real paradise for lovers of untouched nature and hiking. Behind the coastal facade, lively ports of Ajaccio, Bastia and Bonifacio, a real Corsica is hidden. Everything is still here, shepherds drove herd to mountain pastures each year, religious holidays are celebrated with medieval passion and old traditional songs.

We started my acquaintance with the island from Bastia, the majestic Genoese citadel of the 16th century, towers over the noisy port. We stayed at Corsica five days. During this time, they managed to see everything they planned.

Raised to a fortress dam, it offers an amazing view of the city and the bay. We visited philodose, touched 3000-year-old mengiram-statues in the form of warriors, saw primitive settlements. In the southernmost point of Corsica - Bonifacio port, the city stands on limestone cliffs. Numerous caves were blocked in white rocks.

Here we were waiting for the most picturesque and safe beaches. Coast Cot-de-Nip. This shore is called the "shore, which generated the pearl." Swimming in large bays, clean, warm sea. The next day we were devoted to the campaign on one of the numerous trail. We chose a simple and not very long route, I just wanted to just once enjoy the aroma of the dispersion and see the thickets of Juniper, Wild Olive, Thyme, Lavender.
