In October, I was lucky to go to Italy, on the coast of the beautiful Liguria. This is perhaps one of the brightest places in Italy. There is everything here for a comfortable and outdoor activities. We lived here for almost a month, every day discovering the wonderful beauty of the Italian riviera. In order to better penetrate the spirit of these places, we chose different towns for life, but always with that sight, so that there was a beach.
Despite October, the weather was excellent. In the morning it was a bit cool, about 17 degrees, so we dressed sneakers and windbreakers, and in the afternoon it became hot, and you could safely swim. The temperature of the water was about 22 degrees, which made it perfectly refreshing after long-term walks.
The city of Monterosso sheltered us for three days. Of course, first of all, we wanted to take a journey through Ginckwe Terre. The name of this National Park is translated as five lands. There is a huge number of tourists. Trains stuffed with travelers rush through these lands there and here every 10 minutes. The park includes 5 cities: Monterosso, Rubnacesa, Cornilla, Manarola and Riomaggiore. To visit them all two days, but we decided not to hurry. An integrated ticket is worth three days 41 euros, and allows without restrictions to use trains from Spice to Levanto. So, there is something to do.
Monterosso we chose, because it is the biggest city of Chinkwe-Terre, and there are no such insane descents and lifts. The beach is quite large, and very picturesque. We often came to the beach closer in the late afternoon, admired incredible landscapes that were opened with a species platform. The beach is sandy, comfortable, next to a lot of cafes, where it is pleasant to sit after swimming, to warm up in the sun.
The town itself is medieval. There are many confusing streets, vintage churches, beautiful buildings. It is very pleasant for him in the morning, when there was not a crowd of tourists yet. However, the town copes with the Natius guests. Here are full of charming cafes and restaurants, where you can taste a delicious pizza, fresh seafood, cooked in deep fryer (we really liked this dish), as well as traditional lasagna, focaccio and paste.
We lived in the apartment in the heart of the city. To go to the beach for about five minutes, near the station station, where, by the way, for all who bought a ticket on Cinckwe-Terre running the Internet at a special point. You can connect at all Cinque Terre stations. Very comfortably.
Monterosso made at our pleasant impression, and indeed, it turned out to be the most convenient for living among the five towns of the National Park. Impressions were the sea! Bright, picturesque, fascinating! And what blue color by the sea! Magic Liguria!
