In Mallorca, I visited my family (my husband and two children) in the second half of September. For recreation, we chose the spa town of Porto Cristo, located on the east coast of the island. Since we first traveled with the younger son, who at the time of the trip was not yet and one and a half years, the place for recreation was chosen based on his interests and needs. Mallorca, in my opinion, is ideal for relaxing with young children, as there is a mild climate, a calm and fairly warm sea, comfortable beaches, a lot of entertainment.
I chose a specific place for a very long time, where our vacation will be held, since all the resorts of Majorca possess their advantages and worthy of visiting them. I wanted to visit literally in every one. But then a special offer for accommodation in the hotel Insotel Club Cala Mandia 4 * and everything decided by itself. The fact is that this hotel is ideal for families with children, it is fully focused on children's rest, with a good group of animators, delicious food, its water park, in which there is a zone for very little kids. This hotel at the entrance to the main restaurant even has a whole parking for children's wheelchairs. In general, this is such a kind of children's paradise!
From the airport to Porto-Cristo, we had a group transfer, drove a little more than an hour.
Porto Cristo himself is a small town, especially unremarkable. The main thing is his dignity - a stunning nature. This is a very green place, with perfectly clean air, the colors and Mediterranean pines grow around, which makes the air also with healing. And the beauty of cozy coves and the sea, painted in all shades of blue, emerald and turquoise, is simply impossible to convey words! So I will try to show it in the photo. In total, there were three coves in walking distance from our hotel, in which you could swim. Most often, we went to Cala Manda Beach, located in the Bay of the same name, nearest to the hotel. Like all the beaches of Spain, it is municipal, sun beds and umbrellas are available at the disposal of vacationers for a fee. The beach is equipped with a toilet, there are rescuers. The entrance to the sea is excellent - gently, sandy. Despite the fact that the season was already nearing completion, the people were too many, but all the places were enough. We didn't take sun beds and umbrellas, I purchased a beach mats in the shop for 1 euro per piece and an umbrella for 8 euros.

Traveling with a small child has one serious drawback - they intend mainly calm lazy holidays on the beach and walking around the neighborhood, it is very difficult to get on a tour. But we still have done one such a babble - they went on a taxi in the dragon caves. You can go to the cave only with a guide, first the whole group wanders on a beautifully highlighted cave, admiring the stalactites and stalagmites of the most bizarre forms, as well as underground lakes with transparent water. At the end of the excursion, everyone falls into a certain likeness of the visual hall equipped with benches, the presentation is seated and the presentation begins: somewhere in the distance all the approaching music sounds are distributed, it starts to break the lack of light, the sounds are approaching, the light is growing and we see that these musicians float themselves Big in Europe, the underground lake Martel on the boat and play classic works. The charming sounds of music, scattered light from the flashlight on the surface of the water, the magic twilight of the cave - all this leaves an indelible impression. Spectators are sitting like enchanted.
At the end of the presentation, you can ride on the boat on the lake, but we did not become, since as you wanted too much, but to stand in this queue with a child on your hands it would be too tiring.
A few words about the weather. She was completely arranged for me, managed and boil, and tanned, while no one burned, everyone received their portion of the Sun and the sea. But the pair of cloudy days was still, and a day, when we visited the cave of the dragon and was at all the most real shower.
Of course, rest in Mallorca left the most pleasant memories, I dream of going back there and preferably more than once. This island as if specially created by nature for relaxation, recovery, enjoyment, aesthetic pleasure from the beauty of the surrounding landscapes. They say that members of the Royal Family of Spain often rest often on Mallorca and I'm not surprised at all.
