The highest peak is not only Russia, but the whole of Europe Mount Elbrus is located almost at the very border of Karachay-Cherkessia and Kabardino-Balkaria. Both vertices of Elbrus all over the year are covered with glaciers, many mountain rivers take their beginning, including Kuban along with Terek's tributaries. Below them in terms of level are the wonderful alpine meadows, which are gradually moving to the foot of the mountains in coniferous forests. Many climbers dream of conquering Elbrus, but if you do not enter their number, then at least you have the opportunity to see this beautiful vertex.
On the territory of Karachay-Circassia there are a lot of beautiful natural objects, but the most noteworthy of them are definitely - Sufrezhinsky waterfalls in 25 meters high, the glacier Sufroju, the Amanauz River, which, after heavy rains, very often changes its river, deep canyon, inside which is located A quick and dangerous waterfall called the "Damn Mill", and the amanauz gorge, which begins almost immediately for the domination. This gorge is often called the open-air museum, since traveling on it can be seen almost all geological eras that have passed the planet in its development.
On the territory of North Ossetia there is a famous mountain Kazbek, which is certainly considered a symbol of the North Caucasus. It is located almost on the border with Georgia. Just past this top passes the well-known military Georgian road, which connects two cities among themselves - Vladikavkaz and Tbilisi. Kazbek is among the ten highest tops of Russia and is the easternmost five-in-law in the North Caucasus.
Of course, the Saurya Gorge is considered to be the real pride of the Republic of Ingushetia, the territory of which is under the protection of the state and is included in the Jaciera-Assinsky reserve. This reserve is famous for the fact that there are stunning views of the Mountain Caucasian Range Mountains, there are the most ancient tower complexes - anticipation, Erze and Egicale, the mountain rivers ACCA and Arch people flow here.
On the territory of Dagestan, the Underground Salta Waterfall is a real miracle. It is about a hundred and thirty kilometers from the capital of the Republic of Makhachkala. Fast Mountain Saltinka river flows around Canyon Salta tested width in forty-meters. The canyon is further gradually narrows and ends with an amazing underground cave. Here in one of the vaults of the flow of water is washed with a wide window with a diameter of three meters. Karadachskaya tesnin is also located on the territory of the Republic of Dagestan. On average, its width is up to five meters, but periodically it is narrowed up to two meters and this despite the fact that the height of the rocks here is about a hundred fifty meters. When it is dry the weather, only a small stream takes place along the bottom of this gorge, so there is no difficulty just walk along it and get a lot of pleasure. But, of course, during severe floods, this stream turns into a stormy river, and you can only look at all this.
The famous mountain Mashuk is definitely considered the symbol of Pyatigorskaya, although its height is only 994 meters. But from the top of this mountain, a stunning view of the city opens and on its surroundings, and even Elbrus can be seen in good weather. From the historical-architectural monuments of the North Caucasus, it is worth noting the Tower Complex "Inznushki" on the territory of Ingushetia. Most of these structures are five-storey and reach a height of up to thirty meters, and outside the whole complex is fenced with stone walls.
In the mountains of North Ossetia, the village of Dargwas is a huge necropolis, and its sizes are so impressive that it is also called the "city of the dead". In total, there are ninety-nine crystal highs in two or four floors. Moreover, part of these structures is on the surface, and part underground. If you look inside, you can see the wooden coffins having the form of the rook, which is traditional for the territory of North Ossetia, and even the mummy people.
In the Teberdinsky Gorge in Sentinskaya Mountain in Karachay-Cherkessia in 965, a stone temple was built in the traditional Byzantine style. And this date is absolutely accurate because it is knocked out on one of the walls. In fact, this Senatinsky temple is one of the most ancient religious structures in the territory of all Russia. It refers to the number of five temples, erected in the tenth century and miraculously preserved to the present day.
One of the main attractions of the city of Grozny is the Mosque "Heart of Chechnya", which was built, and then named after the first president of the Chechen Republic of Ahmat Kadyrov.
