This year I decided to relax as cheaply possible, finances were lying a little, so my choice fell on the iron port. This is a small village on the Black Sea coast. You can get here with Kherson on a minibus that go every 15 minutes throughout the day.
A very large number of holidaymakers here, but find a free place on one of the many recreation databases is not a problem. I booked in advance to live near the sea in the first line. There is a recreation center here, where there is an opportunity to prepare on your own and hotels of varying degrees of comfort.
The beaches are all sandy, many people, but the place is found quite real. A big minus is that after a few days of rains, a lot of algae nailed, and they were not particularly hurried to clean them, the best is not nice. But overall on the beach is clean and small sand, sandy bottom and good occasion at sea.
The sea was warm and clean. But jellyfish nailed a lot of enough, which prevented swimming. Biumps are relatively not far away, but a large depth began after meters 10.
Entertainment all standard anything special. Although the embankment in the village is large, long and beautiful enough. Many nightclubs and restaurants, but almost everywhere empty, people do not want to go there. A large number of entertainment in the central part.
There are no special attractions in the village, but you can go to the healing geyser or to the Askannaya Nova Reserve. It is very interesting, but to go relatively long.
There were no problems with nutrition and shops. Prices are a bit higher than usual, but still products are not expensive. There is also a market, there you can buy food, fish and everything you need.
The big plus office in the Iron Port in August is that the fruits and vegetables that they themselves are grown at the local residents. Normal prices, not overpriced.
In general, I rested well, but there is no diversity. It all went to the fact that I was either on the beach or sitting in the room. It was very lucky with the weather, the rain was just once, and it was not big, and the air temperature even did not fall below +20.
