In Cyprus, our family (I, my husband and seven-year-old son) was at the very end of the beach season, from October 25 to November 2. This is not the right time for a beach holiday on this sunny island, yet with the arrival of November, a full autumn begins here, the probability of vacation is not on the beach, it is not enough in the rays of a gentle sun, and at the hotel, hiding from the protracted rain. But we risked and did not regret it at all.
Despite the fact that in Paphos there is a private international airport, we flew to Larnaca, and from there for one and a half hours were delivered to our hotel. But flew from Paphos Airport, which is much more convenient.
Paphos cannot boast the presence of a large number of luxurious beaches, mainly here are small, pebble and inferior in the level of comfort by the beaches of many other cities of Cyprus, such as Protaras or Ayia-app. But here there are many beautiful bays, in one of which, according to legend, left the sea waters the goddess of beauty, youth and love of Aphrodite. Until the very end of October, every day was solar and weak. We managed and sunbathe, and boil. And every evening enjoyed unmatched sunsets!

From the excursions they took only a walk on the yacht, with dinner and swimming in the open sea. Everything was organized at the highest level, the yacht is luxurious, but we have already been on many similar walks, so that some special emotions have not experienced.
From November 1, the weather has deteriorated sharply, rains began, hotels began to close for the winter, the number of vacationers decreased to a minimum. But it did not upset us, found something to do - they independently visited several sights (the tomb of the kings were especially remembered, the Kato Patos archaeological park was wandered with interest), of course, looked at the tavern to try the famous Cyprus mez. As for the mese, we ordered a dish for the whole family and no one left hungry.
In general, rest was very satisfied with rest, and since many of the sights of Paphos, who considered the cultural center of Cyprus, remained not studied by us, then most likely in this glorious and hospitable place we will return and maybe more than once.
