Jamaica happened to me for the first time. The solution where to spend your holiday came by itself, and now the next morning, the husband called the tourist agency and issued such a long-awaited "All Inclusive" vacation.
The most successful time for travel starts from around the middle of November and until the end of March. At this time and the sun is more gentle, and the island has an extremely rare phenomenon. In general, the ideal conditions for a full-fledged lazy beach holiday, especially if you are driving with you.
We went in June. We were not frightened by the heat and the possibility of pouring rain.
The hotel itself, in which we were settled was far enough from the city (about 12 km), which turned out very not bad, because if you are a man with a developed empathy, then the whole rest you would have to see this little even a terrifying contrast.
Jamaica, this is exactly the place where you can feel all the parties to existence, and begin to truly appreciate what you have at the moment. In our case, it was a chic hotel with full and abundant food. And a small village, there was a small village where people lived in a dilapidated houses and did not dare as tourists allowed themselves. From this to become even sad. But the locals do not seem to be especially worried. They live a calm living life, and everyone is content with what has. There is everything here to relax: the sun, the warm sea, beautiful beaches, incredible sunset beauty and of course, many do not refuse to smoke herbs. This is almost the main attraction, unfortunately or fortunately.
What else liked, so this is the sea. The temperature for me was more than comfortable, resembled about warm coffee :)
Regarding entertainment, we all practically received from the hotel staff. It can be said that everything was there: from funny animators to spa procedures. And in the evening there were concerts of local rastamans with a mandatory cultural program. It is very colorful.
And almost every day it was possible to see the wedding on the coast (I already regret that our was not in such a place).
In general, this magical place can be told for a very long time, but it is best to come once and everything to see your own eyes. Such memories are imprinted not only in photos but in the heart :)
