In Russian, the name of this park is translated as "five lands" and this is no accident, because it consists of five small town-communities, which are quite picturesquely located among the beautiful mountain slopes near the sea itself.

Since 1997, the entire Park of Chinkwe Terre, as well as nearby, the city of Portovenere has come under the auspices of the UNESCO World Organization. In principle, the very first settlements of people in these places are related to the period of the rule of the Roman Empire, but nevertheless the bulk of the localities appeared here in the Middle Ages. Among them, you can list the man-made terraces along the seashore, as well as monuments of both secular and religious architecture - sanctuary, temples, vintage mansions and palaces.
