Lesbos is the third largest island of Greece. I have a close girlfriend there and has invited for many years to come to visit her. In June of this year, I flew by plane from Athens to Mitilini, the island capital, located in the northeastern part of the Aegean Sea. The island with a population of about a hundred thousand, for the summer season, attend about the same number of tourists.
Most visits, stopping in the capital only for a couple of days, go further on the island see the cities of Sigri with a museum of petrified forest, Eressos, molyvos. There is a beach in the very center of the city, you can get to it on foot or by a bus. The entrance is one euro for the whole day. The beach is big and comfortable, there are always free clamshells and umbrellas, there is a cafe, bar, souls, children's and sports grounds. Evening Lesbos is a string of taverns and bars on the coast, a light sea breeze and the smell of food cooked on coals.
