Florida in winter is something incredible! Today it can be +20 and you walk in one T-shirt, and tomorrow is already +9 and you are looking for a warm hat and a jacket. So it came out that I flew to Jacksonville from Kiev. The path was to stay in mid-January, and even with strongest snowfall in France. Paris did not allow for a very long time: at first we could not take an hour in Kiev, and then almost three hours I spent on board an aircraft heading from the French capital in Atlanta. And "on board" means that we all sat on the plane, but did not take off. As a result, late for three hours, passing your aircraft on Jacksonville and overnight at Atlanta airport.
And so, after 36 hours, I finally in Jacks. On me a warm winter jacket, a warm hat, gloves and warm boots.
Everyone is clearly understood that I am alone, because they go in t-shirts and shirts. But I'm cold, because the wind blows the changeable.
In general, my American friend arrived very soon and took me to visit me. I lived in his mansion exactly four days. Water can be drunk and not afraid of their health. In the refrigerator - full of food, in the garage - two used cars (here without a car), but Joe modestly says that it is not good.
On the first day we go to the hollymart for shopping. I understand that this is the main supermarket of poor America. Here on 100 bucks we buy food for a whole week: meat, ham, bread, bag of apples and oranges, bananas, 4 liters of juice, yogurt, cottage cheese, milk, olive oil, potatoes, fish and even a little clothing. Then we are going to have a snack in the Japanese Buffe "Fuji" (buffet). Here by $ 12.5 with a person you can take food to your choice, not only oriental cuisine. There are sweets, and with meat, and with fish, and for vegans. Water - from the crane with ice - absolutely free.
On the second day we are going to Jacksonville Landing - a famous tourist object in Jacks. Today it's cold here, the middle of the week, in the yard is no more than +10. I'm in a warm jacket and cap, boots, although yesterday went in the windbreaker and without a hat.

On Saturday, we travel by 61 km and we are going to Saint-Oghastin. This is one of the tourist centers of Florida, located on the Atlantic coast in the north-eastern part of the state. It is very crowded here. Tourists arrived not only to look at the Catholic Cathedral of the late 18th century, Lighthouse (1824) and alligator farm (1893). Most of all these are the "oldest house" of America and the "oldest school". By the way, the school was not particularly impressed - this is the usual class to enter the inside need to pay 5 dollars. In August and September, the season of shower and tornado begins, so it's better not to come here, and then the temperature drops to the usual for us.
