When is it better to relax in Prague?

Since Prague is an excursion city, it is not subject to special seasonality.

The best time to visit Prague:

  • The middle of spring, when the greens of parks blooms, the sun's rays walk through the streets and facades of houses. The aroma of flowering magnolia is spreading in the air, and people are going to sit in the squares to view the most interesting performances and listen to street concerts.
  • Summer. The heat as such in Prague does not happen, and in the city you can walk endlessly long, making the "pit foot" in local taverns or cafes. Plus this time of year: you can visit almost all Czech and German locks, which literally give a hand and which have an unpleasant habit of closing for the winter.
  • Beginning of autumn. Prague "goes" the color of orange and yellow leaves, it is worth looking at it and at this time of year.
  • Catholic Christmas (December 25). It is better to come to the very Christmas, when the city is preparing for this delightful holiday: the streets are smartly decorated, and on all squares on every corner you are offered to try traditional Czech sacrifices, medical, mulled wine or a delicious sausage. With the weather for Christmas, never guess: rain or snow. In any case, the temperature will not fall too low. And even consider that in Christmas itself (December 25), many shops and cafes either will not open at all, or will close after 13.00.
