Last October, with each other, we suddenly happened unplanned weekly vacation.
I really wanted to the sea, as I usually say "in the warmth" on "Moreuschko", and he did not want to fly far and long and fight Jetlag. As a result, the choice fell into Cyprus. Moreover, neither I have not been there before, the weather in all forecasts promised to be warm, the rains were not predicted.
Through Airbnb, we booked apartments, three days next to Larnaca, three days in Ayia Napa. I was very surprised by the fact that in the vicinity of Aya-Napa, it was difficult to find apartments with a double bed for reasonable money even in October, (a dual bed - please, but if you tried to sleep on them, then you understand what I mean).
This is our gorgeous view from the apartments in 30km from Larnaca, to the beach 5-7 minutes walk, more in the past accessibility there are no restaurants no stores, but it was not particularly important for us, because For the rest of our holidays, the car was booked.
Every year, Cyprus is visited by crowds of tourists, they go here as a relaxing holiday in the vicinity of Larnaca, Paphos or Limassol, and for parties and night-party at Aya-Napa. But in October, the season is already ends, most of the bars and clubs are closed, tourists are noticeably less, and the weather is still beautiful, during the day you can swim in the sea and sunbathing, water warms up to 24 degrees, in the sun and in the shade +28, and in the evening enjoy cool Breeze and a glass of wine in a local tavern, not taking away from the heat and noise of tourists here in finding a better view. A couple of times during our recreation passed a small rain, a tornado happened that in general the rarity for Cyprus, but neither the other did not overster a journey.
Many Beach Cyprus Awarded the "Blue Flag" of the European Union. This international award is awarded for the purity of the beach and the sea, as well as for the developed infrastructure. Most beaches are stony: either pebbles, or rocky rocks, sandy beaches only in the vicinity of Aya-Napa. Most we liked:

- Bay Peter-Tu-Romiu Kakya is considered one of the most beautiful and romantic seats of the whole Mediterranean. According to one of the legends, on this beach the goddess of Aphrodite came out of the sea foam, nagaya and beautiful. The stone in the photo is called Rock Aphrodite, because According to the same legend, she chose him to sit down at the beginning of his earthly life.
- Beach Figing Tree (in Protaras), unfortunately no, because We were there closer in the late afternoon, and the sun went beyond the horizon. The beach is small, like most municipal beaches are equipped with everything necessary (shower, cabins for dressing, sun beds, zones), there is a promenade nearby, where the day you can walk, and in the evening it is located in one of the cozy restaurants overlooking the sea. The beach is in the bay, which protects this quiet place from the strong gusts of the wind.
- Sandy Nissi Beach , the most popular beach in Aya-Napa. Here we were not very lucky with the weather, there was a storm wind and installed a red flag, and local rescuers were allowed to swim only on the heel of 5 meters around them. And not in vain, because the waves were strong enough, and despite the fact that the beach is sandy, in water a lot of large stones, which can be easily hit. If we rested in Cyprus in the summer, I would not recommend to go to this beach, because Even in October, with a storm wind, it was crowded here, and there is nowhere to fall apart (it is not visible in the photo, just trust the word).
- Another beach that I would like to visit, but in the current situation it is not possible, it is Beach Famagusta , Until 1974, it was the most popular and most expensive resort of Cyprus and in the whole Mediterranean. The sandy beach of 4 kilometers long was built up with new hotels, nightclubs, shops and expensive villas, it was local Miami. I really hope that ever conflict will be allowed, and we will have the opportunity to sunbathe on this beach too.
