Why did we go to Karlovy Vary? First, we always throw on the first tickets "Victory". Why cheaply do not fly somewhere outside the homeland. Secondly, we were not in the Czech Republic. Just wanted to take a car, ride through the Czech Republic, inspect the castles, see the Gothic Towers of Prague, put the beer and the knob.
Hotel
We arrived at the airport of Karlovy Vary exactly on schedule, settled to the Hotel Maltese Cross, where, by the way, they lived completely alone, our cheerful company of four people. All week that we studied Czech culture and gastronomy, as well as brewery and attractions, our hotel was empty. In the end, we were handed the key from the entrance doors. Karlovy Vary - the resort is beautiful. Past it is very interesting and legendary. They say the great emperor Karl V, hunting in these wooded places, lost the dog. Excursions
On an excursion to Prague, we went to the Russian group. Called - it happened cheaper than to go to Prague. The cost of "Igor" is 25 euros per person. The bus is Comfortable, the guide is competent, with a good knowledge base. True, we froze in Prague. It was windy and frosty. But in general, they were satisfied.
By car, taken to rental at Avis, went to the lock Lake, Mariana Lazne, the town of Cheb, to the German Bamberg and to Basilica Waldzassen, who shook us to the depths of the soul. Impossible beauty!
Budget and exchange rate
Spent somewhere around 30,000 per trip. Shopping, mostly shoes, came out of 35,000 for two with her husband. The quality is great. The course was most profitable for euro exchange for crowns. For 100 euros they gave about 2800 kroons. Change much more profitable in Karlovy Vary than in Prague. Prague is very expensive in itself.
