Cagliari - My first acquaintance with Italy

Anonim

In Italy visited for the first time quite recently. Last year I visited Cagliari. It so happened that my relatives live in this city and they have long been invited me to visit this small, but interesting city.

There is an international airport, so I flew on the plane, which is very convenient. You can also get to the ferry that float from the continental part of Italy.

I lived far enough from the beach, to get on public transport, and go about half an hour. I will immediately say that the beach is alone and is located in the southern part. Near the beach a few hotels, if you want to save on housing, you will have to walk a little on foot or ride by bus. Although I did not constitute any inconvenience.

The beach itself is clean, the people are relatively few. Sands are small, there are places where you can spread the towel and calmly sunbathe, you can also rent a sun bed and an umbrella. The beach is long enough and a good place to find will not be difficult. Near the beach there is a small green alleka, you can walk and relax in the shade of trees. Also in this place there are many cafes for every taste. I recommend to try the real Italian pizza. The sea itself is warm and calm. It is deep enough here, but the occasion is smooth and gently. You can come to relax with children.

There are many interesting things in the city. The shore is mostly rocky and consists of stones, so you can only bathe in one place, but in the rest of the places you can just walk along the beautiful embankment and enjoy the beautiful sea landscapes.

I really liked the botanical garden. There are many rare species of plants and trees, everything is very beautifully decorated. I also recommend visiting the fortress of San Michele, this is a grand historical structure. In the National Archaeological Museum, too many interesting exhibits. You can learn something new on how this region looked in ancient times. The city also has a historic quarter, where very old buildings. It seems that you get to the middle of the sixteenth century. There is no usual urban fuss, silence and calm.

In general, I liked the rest. There was a great and sunny weather, an excellent atmosphere.
