In June 2017, we went to the organized weekly vacation in Morocco from June 6 to 13, choosing the Spa Casablanca on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean. Travel began like well, flew directly to Casablanca Airport, where we met a bus transfer from our hotel.
We stopped the big hotel on the ocean, I can't remember his name, but the comfort level was very high. At that moment we did not yet know that the hotel is all our entertainment in Casablanca. But approaching the boom to the hotel, such a suspicion already crushed, because there was a terrible devastation everywhere, and only fenced, completely protected and very beautiful territory of the hotel had a sharply distinguished against the background of a common picture.
Fortunately, the hotel had a full three-time food, a chic pool, a gym and a lot of other entertainment, even evening concerts of musicians. The staff was friendly and cute, although it seemed that their good nature was not very sincere.
A day later, we decided to go down to the ocean, and here we were comprehended by the real disappointment. On the ocean, it was just terribly cold, the wind pulled to the bones, even to undress to the swimsuit was a difficult mission. The beaches were completely empty, but in principle, given the weather, it was completely not surprising. The water was a maximum of 20 degrees, a little muddy because of the waves, it was impossible to swim. And the main thing - on the beach there were no completely no entertainment on the beach, only empty beach bungalows were lonely stood with sand.
In general, to buy in the Atlantic Ocean, for which we arrived, managed only once, and then fasten your teeth from the cold and very quickly. Also later, the locals, employees of the hotel, explained to us that in Casablanca practically all windy weather, and at the beginning of the summer there are cold flows from the ocean, which makes swimming very unpleasant.
We had to spend the rest of the days on the territory of the hotel, which was in general, it was not bad, but I expected much more from Morocco. We really want to return to this country, but clearly not to Casablanca and not in June.
