The Chinese are a very friendly people. They are very happy to help and serve the White man. Therefore, the service proposed by them other than admiration does not cause anything. Language barrier is the only (and very serious) obstacle when communicating. But the local try to do everything so that this communication is mutually affected (electronic translators, telephones with a Russian respondent, etc.).
5. Attractions.
Very impressed the statue of the goddess Guanin (more than 100 m in height). I liked the park with thermal sources. Very beautiful romantic park. I enjoyed the shark and snake factory.
6. Shopping.
About shopping in China, as you understand, you can write infinitely. I will try to tell about general impressions. Good branded Chinese goods are expensive and very expensive. It is not necessary to hope that you can find something truly high-quality for small money.
There are no plants on the island, nor factories producing consumer goods. Everything is delivered from the continent, "Logistics" in China is very expensive, and therefore prices are much higher "continental". We bought and brought from China exclusively souvenirs, tea, medicine.
