I first visited Lloret de Mare in June, and I liked it there so much that when friends were offered to go for a week for a burning ticket, I did not attend a second. This is a youth partition city that buzzes all night. We flew there at the end of October, and the weather was just fabulous. All days were sunny, warm, I did not want to go out of the sea. The beach was semi-empty, the people are very few compared to June, when the apple was nowhere to fall. Initially, we booked a hotel, but by arrival decided to rent apartments right on the seafront, since the price of them was very low due to the end of the season.
In the city, full of small cozy cafes and pizzerias, where you can have delicious and inexpensively. We chose a little bakery where hot buns and bread were sold, they bought cheese in a local supermarket and have breakfast at home on the balcony, admiring the sea. We dined straight on the beach, there are a few cafes with various cuisine, or bought a pizza for which there was always a turn, so it was delicious. For dinner, we often bought and fry fish themselves or cooked royal shrimps, they are there with palm. Fish in stores inexpensive, but prices for meat and milk bite. In supermarkets, a huge selection of Spanish wines only 3-4 euros, and, of course, the famous Sangria. But it is better to order and drink Sangriya in a cafe, where it is served in a decline, it is much better bottled.
Nightlife here is very noisy, so if you plan to go to bed early and get enough sleep, I advise you to rent housing on the 2nd line, away from the sea. Here, until the most dawn, endless marches of tourists, the roar of motorcycles and sounds of music. Enjoy the noise of the night surf will not work. The beach is open, and wanting to swim at night enough. Night clubs and discos are very much here, for every taste and wallet. Want - rock, or pop, or traditional Spanish dances. Despite the abundance of not very sober tourists, the atmosphere in the city is very friendly, you feel safe. But the police are enough, follow the order.
From the attractions especially liked the Holy Clothild Gardens, an unusually beautiful park overlooking the sea and rocks. Be sure to visit the viewing platform next to the statue of Donna Marierner, from there stunning views of the coast. And the center of the Old Town, where the very old church of San Roma is located. And if you want to change the situation, you can take a bus or train, and after a half hours to be in Barcelona. By the way, on weekends from Barcelona to Lloret, a lot of people comes to walk and hang out. In general, this city is a generally accepted leader in entertainment.
I want to note that in October, the people are much smaller than in June, but at the same time all clubs work, and the people actively walk. During this period, prices for many products and services are much lower than in June. So for dancing, fun, wine and shrimp come to Lloret, here this is in excess!
