I want to share my impressions of rest in Alanya. This ancient city due to its location is the warmest resort of Turkey. Rested here twice and very satisfied. To be more accurate, we rested in the suburbs of Alanya: in 2013 it was a village of Conakli, and in 2017 - Avsellar, which are located between Side and Alania. Alanya is located 120 km from Antalya Airport, so the trip to the hotel takes 2.5 to 3 hours. This must be taken into account by everyone who decides to relax in this region.
Along the coast, there are hotels of different price categories. Many of them are across the road from the sea, so the passage to the beach is equipped in a tunnel under the road. But any discomfort does not cause it. We both reigned hotels in 4 *, and we did not have significant comments. Beaches throughout the length of heterogeneous: in some places sandy with a pleasant sunset in the sea, in others - with stones and, naturally, with pontoons. Therefore, when traveling with children, it is better to study this question in more detail.
At the expense of the weather, I will say that in the summer in Alanya is very hot. For the first time rested in mid-June. Temperature daydered to 40 degrees. If you stay at the hotel near the pool or on the beach, it is not a problem. And if you get on the excursion, then you need to take into account the features of the body and your own reaction to such a heat. For the second time we went in October specifically so that it was not so hot. Temperature up to 30 degrees, the sea is warmed. The only thing that needs to be put somewhere to 23-24 numbers is, as it starts to rain. They though short-term, but still do not want to rest what bothered it.
The main reason for which we went to Alanya is the main attraction of the city is a medieval fortress, which is located on the peninsula.
To get from the hotel to the city itself enough to go on the road and wait for the bus (every time it lasted no more than 5 minutes). Travel to the final stop occupied 15-20 minutes. Next on foot in 15 minutes passed to the sea, where it was near the Red Tower (Kyzyl Kule), which is a symbol of the city and stands at the foot of the fortress. You can climb the upper point by the bus on the bus, but I recommend doing it on foot. And not on the road itself, and along the tracks through residential streets located right on the territory of the fortress. This will allow you to see how local residents live not in high-rise buildings, but in the private sector. Rising to the observation deck, it is necessary to make a photo, as it opens a beautiful view from here. Rising on the road Even above, you can see the fortress from other sides. Unfortunately, we did not pass the entire planned route due to the fatigue of the female half. We were left for the next visit to Alanya.
I want to note that the road from the bus to the fortress passes through the market. And here you can also meet entertainment moments.
Of course, in Alanya there are still attractions worthy of attention: a park near the embankment, Cleopatra Beach, in 2017 launched a cable car from Cleopatra Beach, and in 2018 they opened a new park. Therefore, I will definitely come here after some time.
