This autumn I visited the capital of Azerbaijan - Baku. Before that, I was here ten years ago, and was pleasantly surprised how he was transformed. Baku is an amazing and developing city. Now it is a modern megapolis, under the famous cities as Singapore and Dubai.
More recently, Baku was a non-impressive city with old streets and broken roads. But in the city began to invest income from oil and today's Baku can not know. Old Soviet houses were told with sandstone slabs, broken roads were repaired and put in order. Began to equip parks and squares. Baku became a green, clean and modern city.
Since ancient times, Azerbaijan has been worshiped fire. Therefore, a huge structure, built of three high-rise towers, resembles a flame language with its appearance. These three flame towers very quickly became a symbol of Baku. Three fiery towers are offices of the largest companies, chic offices and the most expensive hotel in Baku.
An interesting and famous place in Baku is considered to be the concert hall of the Crystal Hall, built to the Eurovision.
Also a unique and modern place is the Cultural Center of Heydar Aliyev. On the appearance, the construction is similar to a frozen wave or on the spacecraft.
In the evening in Baku, all buildings, sculptures and even lawns are beautifully highlighted. Evening Baku is even more beautiful and lively than daylight.
For me personally, Baku made a strange impression. On the one hand, a well-groomed, clean, modern city, and on the other, is some kind of "artificial". It is clear only that the bright Eastern color is no longer worth looking for, the genuine Azerbaijani atmosphere needs to be sent to the depths of the country.
