After his holidays, Schelkino decided to stay for a couple of days in Feodosia, because more than once heard that in the city there is something to see, and the beaches are good. I can say that the month of June is not quite good, the sea is quite warm, but muddy, a couple of days were big waves and it was uncomfortable to swim, and the water was decently cooled. There are many vacationers, especially on the beach, which is in the center. But the beach itself is disgusting, perhaps, this is what ruined my impression about the rest.
I believe that rest in Feodosia is well suited to families, but where children have grown. For example, we lived in the center and this beach from pebbles in the middle of the garbage very much annoyed. Adults swim quite comfortable, especially if you choose the end of June for your trip. Children can be cold, because the sea is not warm enough.
If we talk about the subjects of the need to capture with you, then we didn't take any particular with me - there is a huge number of shops in the city where you can find absolutely everything. At the same time, they did not bite the price and differed from the non-smoke city.
There are many options for accommodation - from the rooms in the private sector, to private pensions, it all depends on how much you are willing to pay. We shot an apartment, to the beach was not at all close, but here's conditions, to put it mildly, not very. Considering that in fact, we were in Feodosia passage, after resting in shortcuto, extra money for rental housing is not left, it was not particularly necessary to choose. A little time spent on the settlement, because immediately at arrival housing was found. Especially many options were offered to us after in the area of the railway station.
Cafes and restaurants where you can eat quite well, quite a lot, you could also meet a lot of portable snacks directly on the waterfront. There they also bought kebabs from Rapanov, by the way, very tasty, and the price is quite affordable. Hungry definitely not stay!
But you can talk about the beach for a long time. As for me, the most nice and clean was the "Golden Beach", great, because private.
But there are here and free places where there are no umbrellas and sun beds. A good free beach "Dynamo", people here were not so much, but there were canopies where you can accommodate. The central beach of pebbles seemed to me by a terriety, because the stones there live with cigarettes, shrimps and other garbage. My nephew pulled my leg about the lid, which there was also full. In the sea, it is terrible inconvenient, and even sunbathing bad but it is, of course, an amateur. I really hope that in recent years the beach became cleaner and began to care for him.
If you have been bored on the beach or the weather does not enjoy a beach holiday, you can visit the museum, which are a few city. In addition, there is a picture gallery of Aivazovsky, which is attended by quite a lot of guests of Feodosia. Often, tourists are offering excursions to the Karadagi Reserve, but the weather did not allow us to visit this miracle of nature. If we talk about entertainment prices, they are quite affordable (at least they were at that time)
I liked the city myself, he is pretty comfortable, and and walk along the embankment - the fun.
The only negative is garbage and condition on free beaches, they are far from ideal. In general, in Feodosia, you can do your vacation well.
