Meet the new 2018 in Adler and my husband and I decided somehow spontaneously, back in October. Probably, this is the most affordable way to meet the New Year under the palm tree in the rays of the sun. Most of all worried about the weather, but after Samara -15 degrees, the weather in Adler for the New Year holidays seemed to us with a real paradise. Winter Adler is just a fairy tale, everything is drowning in greenery, the air is saturated with the smell of sea salt, the sun warms up and sometimes takes up. What I can say about the city itself: Adler is a very well-kept and clean resort, even in no season there are all the conditions for a comfortable stay, the infrastructure at the highest level. Most of all in Adler itself, I liked the Olympic Park, where we met the New Year at the Olympic Fire. There is no such number of modern sports facilities, probably in no city not only in Russia, but also in Europe. And on the background of the snow-covered Caucasian mountains, it looks simply unrealistically cool.
In addition to the tourist places, there are not so many, except for the embankment, the Olympic Park and the Park "Southern Cultures" are not really anything, but full of sightseeing bureaus and the transport network is very developed. So we did not have any problems with the hotel at all, we were constantly walked, breathing fresh sea air, dinner in small restaurants on the seashore, went to Sochi and on the Red Polyana. So I do not understand those who say that in Adler there is nothing to do in winter. On the contrary, I believe that changing the climate and the situation on the New Year holidays was an excellent idea. Very impressed the winter Red Polyana, just an hour ride by train from the green spring adler and you are already in the mountains covered with snow. At the Red Polyana at this time, the peak of the season, the darkness of the people, so that the skiing for the new year in Adler is better not to think. But we visited the water park "Galaxy" with a street heated pool and mountain views and remained very satisfied.
If we talk about the New Year's mood, it was despite the lack of snow. Festive entourage in the form of a Christmas tree, garlands and Christmas decorations was if not at every step, then in popular tourist sites certainly.
