It was a vacation at the beginning of the season in the first days of June. Warm summer weather was standing, the air warmed up to 26 s, but the warm sea breeze did not give to feel the Mediterranean heat. It was not very comfortable to swim - the water in the sea was cool, and when you go ashore, the wind did not immediately warm up and dry. But, nevertheless, vacation in Spanish Salou turned out to be beautiful.
The first thing that was most liked in the city is the pleasure embankment - King King King Boulevard I. I don't know why, but I had a feeling that I am in Los Angeles. Maybe this palm trees so affected me? The central embankment stretches along the longest downtown Levante Beach with small golden sand. There are many fountains, where the whole show is satisfied. And along the promenade, colorful cafes and restaurants for different taste are seafood, seafood, European cuisine, Mediterranean. You can comfortably get a table on the street and watch the sea and walking people. A good restaurant where we like seafood - La Barca. A good dinner will cost about 25 euros.
An unforgivable omission will go to Salou and not visit the Park "Port Aventura". A lot of rides, expensive hotels, huge golf courses, picturesque lakes are collected on a huge territory. The entire park is divided into several geographic parts of the world - Mediterranean, Wild West, Mexico, Polynesia and China, Children's Country Sesame. There are about 100 different ideas a day! We spent the whole day of our vacation to try out all the rides, but this seemed to us a little. You need at least 2. Yes, and the price of a ticket is different for only 9 euros (56 euros per adult, if you order on the site). I liked the "Alloy for Grand Canyon". And rightfully captured from the attraction "Hurakan Condor" in Mexico - free drop from the height of a 30-storey building!
In the city itself, there are not many historical sights. So for sightseeing we chose to get out in Barcelona. But, nevertheless, it is worth walking towards the old fortress tower of the 16th century here, stops at the old church of Santa Maria Del Mar - the patroness of fishermen and navigators and admire the house of Bonet (Casa Bonet) - a magnificent villa built on the project of one of the student Antonio Gaudi .
