In Chiang Rai, I stopped for two days. This is a city in the very northern Thailand, not far from the border with Myanmar and Laos (from where I, in fact, and returned). Attractions of the city are Buddhist temples.
The most striking of them is generally so unique that no temple in Thailand cannot be compared with him, and maybe in the world, is Wat Rong Khun, but it is a little away from the city, on the highway south 13 kilometers, and deserves Separate story.
Temples that can be waged on a day - this is Wat Mingmang, Wat Klang Wiang, Wat Phra Sing, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Doi Ngum Muang and Wat Doi Thong.
