Kaosan Street in Bangkok.

Anonim

Having gathered to carry out a three-week trip by the countries of Southeast Asia, I chose the initial stage to live for two or three days in the capital of Thailand - Bangkok. Therefore, having quickly pretty on the Internet forums of professional travelers, I found information that they have their own Mecca in this city, or rather, their camp. It is Kaosan Street, which is located cheap guesthouses, bars and shops.

It turned out to be reached for me just just. There is no direct route from Suvarnabhumi airport, it is necessary to get with transfers either by taxi. Since a taxi is a cost, I preferred to try to get by bus. Somewhere in the open spaces, I read that from the airport it is necessary to get to Shattl Bas (free bus) to the ring bus station, and from there to leave the bus number 556. But the 556th, it turned out, no longer walks!

Inappropriate at the station's stations, I learned that before Kaosan you need to get two buses - first No. 555, then make a transplant to №171.

There was another option to return to the airport and on the MRT metro station (Underground Metro) to get home to the Thaya Thai stop, and then get one of the following buses: №2, №59, №60, №79 or №511. I did not do this and sat on the 555th.

The road took approximately forty minutes and cost 34 baht. I got to stop Diden, where I landed, and I began to expect the 171st. It took about half an hour. There was a lot of people at the bus stop, but I was lucky and I left. The road also took about forty minutes on Bangkok traffic jams and cost me 16 baht.

Here, finally, and Kaosan! It is located close to the Victory Monument - Fifteen minutes on foot.

Normal urban street, a lot of transport and little space. The first hotel that was not pleased - 1500 baht per room. Rolling on the street Rambutri, I got on some dark ardor, where I discovered the Marco Polo hostel.

This is how it looks inside:

I was offered to the choice of two rooms: for 400 baht and for 500. The first turned out to be a completely wretched tower, in which there was not even a garbage bucket. The 500 room has been equipped with air conditioning, a fan, a wide bed, a shower ... What is needed! Storing things in the safe at the reception costs 20 baht per day. The Internet costs 50 baht per hour.

Walking in the evening along Kaosan Street, I discovered that she pretty brittle on the night street Walking Street in Pattaya, which had a chance to visit the previous arrival in Tai.

Here she is:

Loud music, noise-gam, trays with food, which is prepared with you - everything is there, but there is one difference ... In general, you can walk with the children)) everything is a little more cultural than in Pattaya.

About noise I mentioned not in vain - he did not give to sleep until the morning. Another day I discovered a number of disco. And yet ... In bedtime there were some small red insects. I had a sleeping bag with me, rested on it. A walk through other guesthouses did not bring results - more or less cheap rooms were busy everywhere.

Along with Marco Polo, there was a pretty decent and cheap cafe - if you leave the hostel, turn right, go out on the road and see her right hand.

That's what I ordered there)
