In September 2017, waiting for a long-awaited vacation, my wife and I went to the wedding trip. True, we had a wedding in September 2016, but still decided to consider the first trip after this event with a wedding travel and our honeymoon. Chose where we go for a long time. No not like this. Selected where to go for a very long time! And the future trip to Cuba was initially not considered at all, in view of the hurricane season in August-October. But by passing the great many options, they still decided. But not without the help of a tourist agent, persuaded. Further, in fact, I will tell you how everything was and share with bright photos, because not to tell and not share is simply impossible, emotions overwhelm.
Since September is not a high season for Cuba, then there are no charters. I had to overpay and buy tickets from Air France. They fly with a change in Paris, usually this is a small transplant, literally one, two hours. But not in our case. That is, what was originally so afraid and why they did not consider Cuba as a tourist destination in September, then with us happened. In general, the José Marty airport near the Havana Airport did not accept due to weather conditions. Well, in the meantime, we have already arrived in Paris. I want to notice the Schengen visa at that time we did not have, respectively, respectively, no one was going to release us from the transit zone. Such "lucky ones" from Russia as we turned out to be about 30 people, but it is only at the beginning, and in the future people only arrived. The departure was postponed by two days. Air France was simply confused, and representatives told us that it was never that had never happened. We even thought to deport, as we don't have visas, and we already have the second day of the 2e terminal. But in the end, we managed to negotiate and for one night the airline paid us a hostel which is located in the airport building. We spent the second night on the chairs in the expectation zone. Frankly, it's cold and not cozy there, well, and the plaids did not have enough.

Not washing, so we got to Cuba. On the courtyard night, we leave from the airport and understand that it is simply impossible to breathe. With the unusual of the September heat and the humidity of Cuba simply interpret her breath. Initially, I thought that it was not that would not rest, but simply would not survive under these conditions. But, as they say, the fear of the eyes are great. Quite quickly mastered the climatic conditions and in the future they simply did not notice the heat or moisture. Before Varadero, about which I will tell on, we got at a pre-ordered transfer. On the way were about 3 hours, but since we were exhausted by adventures in Paris, slept all the way. Upon arrival settled to the hotel and went to bed.
The next morning the first thing was ran to the window in the room to see the sake of which we were so heroically endured all the burden of our holidays. And you know, already from these first minutes I understood, it is worth it! Yes, it is just fantastic and not the view from the window of our inexpensively 4 * Hotel:
Faster washed, gathered and ran to the ocean. What you see in the photo from the room is not an ocean, but just the bay. And here is the ocean, then for what we went here. That is what people go here. This is a fantastic turquoise color, fantastic white small sand. This is paradise, gentlemen!
The ocean on Varadero is the purest and absolutely transparent water. Even despite the fact that a few days ago, a hurricane of Irma was raging here and raised a huge number of hotels. If you are still thinking and afraid of hurricanes, you are afraid that he will spoil your vacation and you will not enjoy white beaches and crystal water - throw doubts and go beyond tickets. I survived the consequences of one of the most strongest hurricanes in history and can safely say, go!
Varadero Beach, it is about 20 kilometers of purest sand. And on such an area just enough for everyone. And since September is also not a high season, the whole beach was at our disposal. What, naturally, I was extremely happy.
Here, first of all, it is worth going from behind the ocean. If you have never seen it, you will be delighted. Even the photos do not transmit real colors. In fact, he is many times brighter!
Varadero is a resort on which there are all the conditions for an excellent stay. There is everything, well, or almost everything. What you can not say about the whole Cuba as a whole. As the Cuba is known, this is a fairly poor country due to the difficult trading conditions that the United States has been created.
The price tag on Varadero, of course, not cheap. So, a taxi (Coco-taxi) costs 5 euros, regardless of where you are traveling within the resort.
I think you guessed why this type of transport wears such a name: "Coco".
Talking about the resort can not be mentioned and about transport that will surround you everywhere. Cuba and Varadero in particular is just a machine-time. The photo is below that proof.
Being the resort, Varadero tends to all sorts of bars and restaurants. Eyes scatter from their abundance. Almost every 100 meters along the main road there is some funny institution. So we managed to taste lobster. The average cost of one portion is 30 euros. Honestly, not strong impressions he produced me. When he ate, I thought that it was a rubber chicken with a taste of fish. But only on my opinion you should not build conclusions, it is possible that it is simply prepared in this restaurant "El Rancho". By the way, cool cocktails are served at the BEATLES bar. Prices about 10 euros per cocktail. Mojito is indispensable.
You will not get bored for Varadero, even if you get tired of swimming in the ocean, although how to get tired of this, I do not know. Water is so warm that in water with ease you can spend 3-4 hours. But you need to be very neat, as the sun in the daytime hours on Varadero is very and very dangerous. Burn, especially white-skinned, simpler. Be prepared and take sunscreen with the highest possible degree of protection.
Probably you already understood that everything comes down to the ocean. That is how it is. This is the main and basic for which there should be at least once.
