My husband and I visited this attraction at the end of May 2016. It was already hot and many have already discovered the swimming season. The castle is very convenient - walking along the embankment, you can accidentally reach such beauty. Castell del-Obo I remember incredibly beautiful views of the sea and Vesuvius. Overview sites are beautiful to create beautiful photos. The entrance to the territory of the ancient castle was free. It strikes the age of this building, high ceilings, colorful windows, steps and corridors - so I want to wander on them, presenting yourself in another century. We needed about an hour at a slow pace, so that you can get around, although you can rely on more time - if you want to enjoy every species and make a bigger photo on the background of the sea. In many viewing platforms, people just rest sitting on the stones. On the territory of the castle there is a free toilet, machines with drinks and food for snack (prices are quite acceptable). At the entrance to Castell del-OU, you can buy all sorts of souvenirs and gifts. This place is also popular among the newlyweds of Naples (we were on Saturday and met about 4-5 wedding couples), as well as as a kind of beach (on the stones near, where people not only sunbathe, but also dive). It seems to me in Naples there are many more interesting attractions (by architecture, degree of security), compared with this castle. However, it is worth a visit just because of incredibly beautiful species. Active children will also like - a lot of space to frighten, run and jump.
