If you are gathering an open-air sculpture exhibition at the cascade (it's right in the center of Yerevan), then climb on the escalator to the very top, and then overcome a few more stairs. There you will be waiting for an open area with an excellent view of the city and to Ararat. And not far from the site there is another place where it is worth looking, - Victory Park.
The park was divided into Soviet times, in memory of which the sculpture of Mother Armenia remained, towering over Yerevan.
It goes here for a walk, it is especially pleasant to wander through the alleys of the summer evening. Unfortunately, now behind plants do not care and the view of the park in places overgrown. But in the central tracks you can walk or ride a bike, on casters, etc. There are fountains, a small set of attractions for children, from all I advise the ferris wheel (worth funny 500 drams, it is about 60 rubles). You can make beautiful photos of the same Ararat. A small cafes and la rays with shawarma are scattered across the park, prices for food are low.
The foot of the Mother-Armenian monument is located a small exhibition of military equipment. Children like it, because there is no security, everywhere you can climb and look at everything. Of course, no innovative technologies here will see, all old, Soviet, but for some time the guys will be able to take.
In general, this is a good place to pass the summer evening. Specially ride it in the park I do not advise, especially if you have little excursion time, it is not worth it. But to combine with the inspection of the city center, it is very possible.
