Palamos

Cove S'Alner It is famous for its fishing houses, transformed into summer accommodation, with brightly colored doors and window frames. The beach here is rocky, and the bottom, overgrown with algae, gave the name of this bay. On the shore, small fishermen are often standing. On the car here you can drive along the road leading to the pine forest of En-Gori. From the beach Castel can be held on foot along the pedestrian road.
La Foze Beach - Urban beach with small sand. Here you can often see the boat pulled by the shore. The name of the beach gave a dark cliff, separating it into two parts. To the north of La Foze, at the end of the embankment, the Cape Punta de Sant Estene rises, crowned with the ruins of Sant Estene's castle. In the same place from which magnificent views are opening, the pedestrian road begins to Castel. From the southern end of the beach, the other road leads along Cape Gros to Palamos.
A walk on the road from the beach of La Fozek to the beach Castel takes a closer. The road passes by the pine Bora of En-Gori, Cove S'Aillger (with her old fishing houses) and along the walls of the estate of Mas-Zhun.

The famous red shrimps from Palamos catch between Cape Bagur and the mouth of Rydaura rivers in Paldja d'Aro. They have a gentle meat and very juicy, it is a mandatory ingredient of the sub-seater (local fish soup) and different other seafood dishes.
