When gathering on a beach holiday in Jurmala this year, we immediately set out the goal to visit the Riga Zoo, because it was enough enough about it. Our plans were destined to come true.
In the zoo, my family and I went to the personal car, which was safely left in a paid parking lot (they would know how much it costs, they would stop outside the territory of the zoo and it would be hung :). By paying for the entry of six euros per adult and absolutely nothing for a three-year-old child, we went to get acquainted with local inhabitants.
When buying tickets, by the way, immediately in the hands are issued a map of the area where enclosures with animals and various objects are marked. Thanks to her, we looked at everything and did not interfere (the territory of the Riga Zoo is not small enough).
Even at the entrance, I drew attention to how clean and gently here. Animals look cheerful and satisfied. And this is not in every zoo you can observe. The first we met, were flamingos. List all the variety of livestock here inhabitant I will not. Who is only not in this zoo!
Personally, an exotarium was performed on me the greatest impression. It is artificially supported by a tropical climate for comfortable residence of its inhabitants. In these "jungle" created by the hands of a person, you can see a lot of exotic snakes, frogs, insects, lizards and even crocodiles! Very fascinating spectacle!
I find it difficult to answer how many hours we spent in the zoo, but after watching everything, we are tired of everything. Even a child who was originally simply exalted by a variety of species)
The excursion was satisfied, I liked everything, but personally we had a little "overload". To consider carefully all the inhabitants, one day is clearly not enough)
