Hot and Ancient Tel Aviv

Anonim

I confess that I was very afraid of flights, until 2011, when I visited Bulgaria for the first time on the plane. I realized that it was little, and since then, every year I try to get somewhere on the plane. It was called to Israel for a long time: in the 90s there I emigrated many neighbors, acquaintances, friends, relatives. They called for a visit, but I refused because of the fear of the flight, and it was not easy to get an Israeli visa. However, quite recently, a visa-free regime between Israel and Ukraine went to the fly, and I decided to fly to the May holidays.

So, I did not have to spend on a visa. This is a plus. But in May 2013, Easter celebrations coincided with Mayski, so the pilgrims from all over the world have fallen enough. We could barely buy a ticket. Bought in Zhytomyr in Kiyavia for 4000 UAH. per person (500 dollars). Then I have not yet known that "Kiyavia" takes a 10% percentage commission for services in the office, did not know what you can buy online through Privat24, then did not trust computer selling. Shortly after our trip, Israel signed an agreement with Ukraine about the "open sky", and tickets are now much cheaper.

We planned to watch the uncle in Haifa, visit relatives in other towns and go to Jerusalem. On the trip allocated a week - me and dad. However, plans soon changed, because in Jerusalem a lot of pilgrims went to Jerusalem, and Uncle bought us a ticket for a trip "Mini Israel" in Tel Aviv. However, before this, I note that our plane landed in Tel Aviv, in a giant airport. It was pleasantly surprised by the photo of the Great Israeli athletes, awesome on the airport walls. On passport control was a Russian-speaking worker, he did not put the print in the passport, but gave us a card, a valid 90 days. Although still asked, to whom we fly and how much.

Uncle met us by car (in Israel without a car in any way, since public transport is very bad), in two hours it brought to Haifa, where we lived. I will say right away that I can't say anything about prices, since we were like guests and did not pay anything. We were drunk and fed.

So about the excursion. It cost about 300 dollars for two. For Israel, this is not money. We took the minibus in Haifa, on the way she was filled with Russian tourists. The excursion lasted the whole day and was quite tedious. Israel is best to fly in winter when not so hot. In May, and in general in the summer, frying the neuroyal, had to change the T-shirt two or three times a day. The air conditioner was working on the bus (in Hebrew "Mozgan"), as a result, I was blown up on my return home, I also lacked in bed with a temperature. Uncle gave us two bottles of 2 liters with non-carbonated water. I had to drag them with you in the bag. I understand that the Jews love all the big and their inconvenience. Many tourists go with backpacks where water is put. Tourists would advise to wear sneakers and comfortable clothing and not steam especially about attractiveness. Do not forget the cap or baseball cap. And drove constantly. Fortunately, toilets are free and every step, with all the amenities. In general, almost like in a restaurant.

We had a Russian-speaking guide Israel. He was a professional of his business, described in detail about everything, answered many questions.

Our first point is the Latrun Monastery. There we could buy wine of local production and souvenirs. Russian tourists did, then one of them treated all the participants, explaining that she had a birthday today. Tourist from Norway photographed a lot. He found a museum of tanks and military equipment next to the monastery and made a lot of personnel with whom he shared in the social network.

And then there was a numerous excursion "Mini Israel". This is a whole open-air complex, miniature architectural buildings, trees, in general, all objects representing the pride of this wonderful country. After the excursion, we bought souvenirs in the shop, again the Russian-speaking sellers worked here. Prices were high enough. For example, the cream from the Dead Sea cost 100 hryvnia (it was the cheapest, 50 ml, 12.5 dollars).

After "Mini Israel" we sent to the ancient town of Jaffa in Tel Aviv. Here we were started in a quarter, where jewelry workshops are placed. True, the prices bite, and no one bought anything. Also went on the embankment and looked at the rest on the beach of people. There were also theaters, for example, "Gesher", where many of our emigrants play. In Haifa, we arrived after 8 pm.

Back, too, flew from Tel Aviv. System of protection at the level. The line is long, airplanes fly off with a delay. They will come to you and ask who packaged the luggage to you, was any of the outsiders. You must answer that everyone was packaged themselves. Here do not understand jokes. If you hang, then you will be left in a separate room and usually. Luggage also check, but the Ukrainians missed without inspection. Apparently, we are less like terrorists.

In Duty Free, we bought "Finland" vodka and candies. Vodka was cheaper than in Ukraine, but candy cost $ 8.

In general, I was satisfied with the excursion. I hope to fly to Israel again.
