Topkapi Palace was built in 1479 by order of Sultan Mehmed. By the mid-19th century, Turkish Padishahs lived in the residence, but today it is a regular museum.
How to get?
In the summer, the museum works from 9:00 to 19:00, and in the winter only until 16.00. On Tuesday the palace is closed for visitors. The ticket is bought at the entrance to the museum, and it costs 40 Turkish lira. At the rate of the ticket, the visit to the harem is not included, so you need to pay another 25 lir.
