Feodosia is a city on the Black Sea coast with a rich history. I visited this resort twice. I will tell you about the last rest when we visited this cute city with my husband and daughter in August 2015. Initially, I was looking for an option of the seaside resort not far from us, because the little child would not suffer a long road. And Feodosia is the perfect option: sat on the train in the evening, and in the morning there is already in place.
Housing we shot in the private sector. This option is the most budget. There are different options for such housing, depending on the conditions of residence and remoteness from the sea, the price varies significantly. Also in the city there are sanatoriums and pensions. A very interesting option will be the choice of mini hotels. They appeared not so long ago, so the furniture and plumbing will be modern. The only thing - to book places in them is necessary in advance and the earlier, the better. We didn't do that and very regretted.
First time we rested on the central beach. He did not impress us at all: dirty water (near the port), garbage, many people. After what they saw decided to go around the beach near the entertainment complex "Club 117". It is much more spacious, people are smaller, and water is cleaner. Of course, the infrastructure is also not developed here, but at least you can buy without the environment of the garbage.
In Feodosia, a network of canteens is very developed. They provide a good choice of food at reasonable prices. Mostly in the morning and at lunch we drose there, and in the evenings, a variety of cafes and pizzerias visited. The service is quite acceptable, sometimes it took longer to wait for the order, but we were always brought up with the cause of the delay. There are many clubs and discos in the city, youth will be than to take yourself to summer theodosiy evenings.
At this resort there is something to see on the sightseeing plan and it does not strengthen you in a penny. Be sure to visit the Iivazovsky Museum, these pictures are masterpiece. On the beach you will be offered a sea walk, agree, because in addition to the wonderful kind, you will tell you the history of the city and the main milestones of its development. There are several horse bases on the territory of Feodosia. Having visited them, you can ride horses or take horse riding lessons. A very positive excursion, after communicating with horses, the mood can not be bad. I also want to advise you to go to the next village - Ordzhonikidze. It is close to Feodosia, very cozy and quiet, with beautiful beaches and purest water. For recreation with a child - the perfect option. If you like the active rest, then you can easily get to Koktebel (visit the water park), Sudak (Sudak Fortress) or a new light (Galicinskaya trail).
Shopping in Feodosia is no originality. On the embankment many options for souvenir products, handmade jewelry, herbs and knitted toys. If you want the original - you take impressions from Feodosia and positive emotions.
I attended this wonderful city for two times and I will not be surprised if fate will bring us again. Holiday raisin in Feodosia in his simplicity, there are thoughts and souls, they charge positive emotions from what they see, admire the nature and enjoy the Crimean Sun.
