In July 2016, we were with her husband lucky to visit Montenegro. For your holiday, we chose not a cheerful and noisy Budva, and cozy Becici. The town is small, but with good infrastructure and an atmosphere. You will not find high-rise and fashionable hotels here, mostly housing is presented in the form of villas, but there are also apartment buildings. Separately, I want to note the sea - the Adriatic, so salty, with the purest water and the amazing water world. If you decide to master the diving here, you will definitely not regret. Montenegro - a country where there is a food cult. Locals are preparing perfectly, in their covers a lot of unique local recipes. You can eat tasty in Becici, both in the restaurant and in a simple cafe. And what are they street fast food ... as a rule, coming to the sea, we try seafood, but in Montenegro try first meat - it is divinely. Also, the country is famous for its wine, cheese and dried meat. The service is acceptable, the waiters are polite and taking into account, and portions of dishes are just huge, so they can be safely divided by half.
Well, what kind of rest without colorful shopping. In Montenegro, we purchased souvenirs with local symbols, excellent textiles, a variety of goody (meat, cheese, wine, olives).
The nature of Montenegro is amazing and beautiful. And in order to see it, not necessarily buy tours and excursions, it will be enough to rent a car and make yourself an extensive sightseeing. Before the Budva, you can walk in two ways: on the motorway (which will admire the Chernogortsev fleet) and on the embankment (species open up). We also visited Kotor, Saint Stephen Island, Herceg Novi, Petrovac, Skadar Lake. The only excursion to buy is to visit the Boko to Kotor. In the evenings you can visit the disco or just sit by the sea and admire the stars. Montenegro is a wonderful country to relax, but it seems to me, it is more suitable for youth, rather than family. For children, the climate is good, but you will not find any special fun for them.
I fell in love with this charismatic, good-natured and generous country. And once again I am convinced that the state does people - the same good, responsive and friendly.
