In Slovakia, there is almost nothing to buy much cheaper than in Russia, at least, this is true in relation to most consumer goods. But this is not a sentence, because the shopping in Slovakia is possible, and as in all countries it is best to spend in the capital of the country - Bratislava, where a large number of shopping centers are built. The most popular is the most popular POLUS City Center, AUPARK and TATRACENTRUM, where there are shops of world famous brands and brands. The sale season in these shopping centers, as and throughout Europe comes under Christmas.

If you are more interested in antiques or vintage things, it is worth visiting the famous flea market located at the Devin castle (by the way, it is one of the attractions of Bratislava), where collectors will be able to find a lot of interesting things for themselves. There are still flea markets in Bratislava Mirty and Centralne TrHOVISKO, but they are inferior to Devinovsky in size and respectively assortment.
To lovers of national souvenirs and attributes, it is worth visiting the ULUV network shops, in which you can buy dolls in national clothes, called Dragomir, in honor of the Mother of St. Vaclav, especially honored in Slovakia, the National Slovak Clothes itself, as well as all souvenirs related to this small but a very beautiful European country.

Special attention should be paid to the VAT return system. No matter how cool, but buy something with a discount, it is always nice. To do this, when buying, ask the seller, in addition to the usual cash check, also a check in the form of Tax Free Form, which, when crossing the border of Slovakia, it will be necessary (together with the cashier check) from customs officers, or send by mail to the Slovak Branch of Global Blue Slovakia.
