Among all European countries in which I managed to visit, Holland stands out for its indescribable flavor and uniqueness, which can be understood only by visiting this country. You can have long to share the impression of Amsterdam and its sights, but in more detail I would like to tell about the village of Zanse-Shans, which is located nearby next to the capital. This place, as in me, was created specifically for tourists: the famous Dutch mills, lambs, eating grass - in general, all that you can see on souvenir postcards from the Netherlands. And in this village there are ordinary Dutch, and mills of these workers, and not just a bait for tourists.
Also in the village there are cheese shops in which you can first try all the presented grade of cheese, and then, if you still be able to decide on the choice (after all, all the cheeses are incredibly delicious), you can purchase a favorite variety. Be sure to look at the museum. There you will see a lot of wooden shoes of all sizes, colors and styles. And you can also purchase you like. On the embankment of the River Zaan there are various souvenir benches and cafes.
They will be offered to taste the famous Dutch herring, which costs a lot of money and the taste does not differ from herring from our stores. So do not lose anything. I note that the prices for souvenirs and other little things are much higher than in Amsterdam. Therefore, do not hurry to buy everything in a row. But I strongly recommend cheese, especially since small heads are perfect for a gift close.
