This place and my husband and I found quite accidentally. Just walking from the Malostransk subway, they saw the gate. People walked inside. At first, we got shy, you never know what's there, and then they saw the booth that the entrance is free. We decided to see. The park turned out to be cozy and very pleasant. He is over 400 years old.
The garden is divided into two large parts with alleys, tracks, grottoes and benches. On the right side is a big pond with fish and ducks. It is impossible to feed them. Park's caretakers are followed. The pond is a fountain.
Pavlines walk freely through the garden. Left left a large alley with arches, various landscaped elements and old sculptures. We went through it to the end. The alley leads to the palace, but they do not water excursions. The building is located the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. The palace has rows of benches, I've learned later that there are concerts there. In all the park, many places where you can stay. Various decorative elements can be considered for a long time. Even the garden walls are interesting. And the feeling in it is just beautiful. Clean air and a calm atmosphere. After long walks on the noisy center of Prague, this place gave us a charge of cheerfulness and energy.
We did not find a cafe or tents with food. Therefore, it is unlikely to have a snack there.
This place will be interested in all family members. Parents will be able to relax in the shade, and the children run and watch large red fish in the pond. You can bypass the entire park at no time in an hour. Valdshtei garden is open from April to October. Work time from 10-00 to 18-00.
