Kaluga - a great option for traveling on the weekend

Anonim

We spent a great weekend in Kaluga.

From Moscow to go very closely, only about 200 km, but we spent almost four hours on the way - left in the evening on Friday and got into a big traffic jam in Kiev. Already came late, so they settled at the hotel and immediately went to bed. The hotel was excellent, new, in the very center of the city.

The first mandatory point from the cultural program was to visit the cosmonautics museum. Tsiolkovsky. We, two adults, wandered a couple of hours through the museum's halls, considering many exhibits. Children, especially boys, I think will be delighted with the museum. Also, for the first time in life in the planetarium, were very impressed. The museum building has a copy of the rocket in a natural value, on which a person made the first flight into space. In the evenings, as it turned out, she is highlighted - it looks simply amazing!

We dined at the Wings Bar. An interesting and extensive menu is remembered, in which the names of some dishes corresponded to the topics of the bar. All that was ordered was very tasty, and, which was very surprised, very cheap for the establishment of such a level.

For the evening, we were purchased in advance tickets to the Kaluga Drama Theater on the play "Sun House".

The theater is old, judging by the inscription in front of him, he was built in 1777; Externally, very much reminds Moscow big. In the theater itself there are several cafes, we went to "I do not believe!". They wanted to have a snack before the performance, but were a little disappointed. Little sandbodes looked faded, the appetite cakes did not cause. However, coffee was tasty. The spectacle itself was amazing. Incredibly beautifully shown the scene of the love of the main characters using shadows.

I did not expect a lot from the provincial theater and was pleasantly surprised by the game of actors. There were a lot of live music, artists performed many different songs. After the exit of the actors to bow and perform two more songs, the audience applauded standing! The only minus of the whole play was in not the most well-way. We were not sitting along the center itself, but a little on the side, and during some scenes we were not visible. What they see (or do not see) people sitting in side beds, can not even imagine.

In general, Kaluga left us only pleasant impressions. This is a quiet, pure town where you can come for a couple of days and where you do not have to miss. We did not have time to visit the Park Nikola-Lyavets, which is located near Kaluga, so we plan to return again!
