There is an interesting museum in Tomsk, which is devoted to cults and mythology of Russia before making Christianity. These are legends and legends about heroes, Russian fairy tales. Here you can hear about Perun - the God of Thunder, Baba Yaga, Delets and Mermaids and even the princess-swan. The museum contains paintings, folk fishing products, costumes. Here are the smallest nephew in the world, consider which is possible only under the microscope. All this is a private collection. Just walk through the halls and there is no point in viewing. It is better to get on thematic excursions. There are "live traditions of Russian crafts" in the museum and free excursion. During the excursion it will be possible to get acquainted with the people's folk fishing. This is the painting on wood and Gzhel and lacquer caskets and hear about the meanings of a particular ornament. Very interesting and informative. It lasts about 30 minutes.
Of all the excursions, we chose "native gods and heroes of ancient Russia." The tour told about the Slavic Gods, about the heroes, about the first princes and about the epic heroes. The same attention was paid to the heroism and courage of Russian warriors. And of course clothes, armament of that era. At the end, you can even try on the mail and hold the real sword in your hands.
