We needed a quiet, safe and comfortable stay for the family. On the advice of acquaintances, it was decided to go to Kemer - provincial, spa town with a port located on the Turkish Mediterranean coast. This settlement will stretch along the coastline and is surrounded by a mountain chain. Thanks to this, the climate is less hot than in other cities of Turkey.
From the airport to Kemer, we got less than an hour. The city was surprised by his nature, the purity of the streets, the wonderful beauty of landscapes, good-natured inhabitants and signs in Russian! As later it turned out that the indigenous population understood well and communicates in Russian.
Along the entire shore, there are hotels and guest houses 4-5 * - this is the first line, further, above the mountains there is a second line of economy hotels 3 *. It seems that residential buildings are not at all - the whole town of solid hotels, hotels, shops, souvenir shops, bazaars, cafes and parks with fountains. Conditionally, Kemer can be divided into two perpendicular streets - a pedestrian boulevard and a street with a car movement.
The beaches are mostly pebble, but there is sandy, overlooking the port of "Marina".
The port is the yachts in which you can order a day trip for sea. Myself, the walk will cost you inexpensive, somewhere 10, but the food and drinks are paid, as well as the photo on the vessel with a parrot or other grains. The yachts are very picturesque, fabulously decorated.
Beaches in Kemer clean, but narrow meters 12 no more. Water is fabulously transparent and incredibly warm, but under the legs of pebbles. Walking without shoes is problematic, hurts feet. For especially gentle, special rubber calories are sold in the shops - buy, and you will be happy, you can swim in them, they will not fall.
Be sure to try oriental sweets, I recommend buying them at the grocery market in the city. Prices are pleased to be pleased - they differ significantly from the shop, and the taste and the range will simply be ashamed.
