I am very advised to visit the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku.
It is located on the road from the international airport, it is difficult to explain how it can be reached from the city center, but the locals will be happy to prompt how faster and more comfortable to it.
The building of the amazing architecture, designed by the eastern architect of Zha Hadid. It is very impressive with its sizes and sloping forms, the territory adjacent to the center is also quite large, spacious, ideal lawns, different scattered compositions.
Inside the center there are various exhibitions, in the building there is a concert hall, covered with completely wood and without a single angle, also in smooth transitions.
We went inside and see what there are exhibitions at the moment, we decided to eventually go to the exhibition of miniature Azerbaijan.
Inside the center, everything is made in white tones, stunning lighting and again almost a single angle, narrowing steps giving out somewhere upstairs, flower beds, trees inside, silence, all of course struck. The edge of the eye was noticed by car Heydar Aliyev who also stand in the center, in the various years of his rule as president of the republic. But this is a separate exhibition, we did not take tickets there.
Now about the exhibition "Miniature Azerbaijan" - it presents the main buildings of the republic and in the form of layouts. It is very interesting to look at them for such small, and then meet these in the essence of the case.
Compositions are quite a lot, there is both modern architecture and buildings of quite old times. Near each layout there are tablets where you can view detailed information about the composition with photos, in several languages.
By the way, the center is not allowed to shoot on professional cameras, check the presence at the entrance and if the camera is suited, then they are asked to leave. So keep in mind. Also asked to leave large bags and backpacks.
