I happened to visit Sevastopol in early October. I went there with a pessing mood, representing the storm wind, dumbfare, and all that is connected with it. To my surprise, Sevastopol met us (me and husband) warm sunny weather. Of course not summer, but the weather is pleasant.
We spent 2 saturated days in this city. After reviewing the first inspection of monuments and memorials of the Great Patriotic War, and there are a lot of maritime walk on the boat here. The second day spent on excursions inspecting caves, waterfalls and other attractions in the mountains.
We shot apartments, good, with good furniture and everything you need for 2 thousand rubles. Breakfast was prepared for themselves, dinner in the cafe, having lunch the campaigns of excursions. On the first day, we ordered a bus tour of 4 hours with a visit, museums, panoramas of Sevastopol battle. And another small half-day walk on the boat on the 4th bays. During the walk, loved by the ships of the Navy of Russia. At prices, the cost of the excursion was inexpensive, but for the entrance tickets you need to pay separately.
I want to tell about our second day. For the very excursion on a convenient bus with a guide, we paid 1500 per person, but we had to pay for the three caves separately. For the entrance to each 300 rubles per person. In general, we spent a decent amount including lunch in a cafe with the eastern, or rather Crimean-Tatar dishes. But fabulous views of the caves, a waterfall, Viking village all the cost of our forces and this money. All three caves hit us with their columns, frozen waterfalls, bizarre figures. And all this is created by water from stone. Very nice.
We left Sevastopol at 8.30 am, and returned to 8 o'clock in the evening. In addition to the caves, the pagan sanctuations looked and there was a free wine tasting. Delivered by the beauty of the mountain Crimea.
My advice: if you order such a tour, then dress warm and seen. The caves are very cold. And necessarily convenient closed shoes. You need to remember that the entrance is not included in all objects in the cost of excursions.
