Tenerife is a mysterious place where many dreams of visiting.
At this wonderful island in Spain, we and my spouse arrived in May. The gentle sun meets us with warm rays. We chose the resort town not by chance, namely because of its famous beaches with black sand of volcanic origin. The name of the paradise town is Puerto de la Cruz. The ocean is simply gorgeous, but the water is not calm. So, if you are poorly swimming, it is better to swim in the pool.
Of the significant attractions there is a magnificent zoo, where many unusual animals are represented with some of them you can talk closer and stroke. Also on Tenerife there is a dolphinarium, in which you can watch funny shows with the participation of the taway.
The excursion program is also very good. Personally, I visited one to the Thyid volcano. Apparently it is here that some foreign films about space are removed. Here is an interesting red sand, landscape, like on Mars. I really recommend visiting here. Particularly wonderful views from the volcano in the evening.
By the way, in February, a carnival is held here, and the subject of the new one annually.
Spanish cuisine is also good. It is especially possible to highlight Palela and potatoes, which you need to eat with the skin. And do not forget about the famous Canary sauces. In Tenerife, many restaurants and cafes for every taste. The pricing policy is quite affordable. That is for two you can spend about $ 100. Well, it is clear that it can and more, everything will be taken from the menu chosen by you.
And another important aspect is that almost no one speaks English on the island, despite the fact that it is an international language. So it will be difficult to communicate with the service personnel. Personally, I came to the rescue with a telephone with a translator. You can take into service. Well, or in extreme cases, you can use the language of gestures.
14 days here fly like one moment. From my holiday, I concluded that you need to rest at least a month. So you can enjoy all the beauties and charms of Tenerife.
