In 2016, I traveled around the Crimea and visited many wonderful resort towns. I will tell about one of them today in my report. At the southernmost point of the peninsula, there is a wonderful village - Foros.
This is a very quiet and cozy place where you will not strain noisy youth gatherings. This is rather a family resort. On Foros, there is a good pension with the same name. Rooms are absolutely different price categories, start from 2000 per day. Try to inspect your future housing while settling, as the fund is quite old and many rooms require restoration.
On Foros, many beaches, one of which belongs to the pension itself. The beach is large and well-groomed. The beach is finely pebble, so the barefoot does not turn out, you can easily be lit. And you look after the children, so as not to be injured.
Near the boarding house there is a giant park. The territory is so big that you can not get around in a few days. The park has beautiful lakes with water lily, benches for recreation, wonderful rarest plants. Found the Park Count Kuznetsov. Here is also his palace, which now also belongs to the pension number foundation. Rooms here will be much more expensive, but what did you want? The Palace of Graph is still.
There is a very developed infrastructure in the village. There will be no challenges to find a store, a bank or pharmacy. Prices in retail outlets are not overpriced, that is, everything is like everywhere. Even medicines in pharmacies with a quite affordable price tag.
Also here are many places where you can have a snack for affordable money. There are cafes and restaurants. Most of all I liked the institution called "Fondue". The fish menu is very and very rich. There are almost everything you wish from the inhabitants of sea depths. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy, plays a calm background music. The average check will be released about 1500 per one. But everything will depend, of course, from the cost of dishes ordered by you.
Also on Foros, you can visit the Church of the Ascension Christ, which was built on the orders of Count Kuznetsov. The church is located at the highest point of the village, on the Red Rock. The height that is not small, and 400 meters.
One of the attractions of Foros is Cape Sarych, where the lighthouse is built for ships. And here you can see a real foggy bell. It calls into it when such a tight fog falls above the sea stuel that the ships are not visible a lighthouse spotlight. The ringing of the bell makes it easier for sailors to the island.
By the way, there is a nudist beach nearby. Therefore, if you are not shy and want to give a sun with a slice of your body, then on this beach no one will tell you bad. Tanning and rest.
I was impressed with the rest I had the most wonderful. Everything here is filled with silence and pacification.
