We visited the famous Notre Dame Cathedral in March 2015. The cathedral is located in the city center, the entrance to it is absolutely free. A visit to this Catholic shrine was part of the "Heart of Paris" program, which we bought in one of the Russian-speaking tour agencies. The cost of a full excursion that includes a transfer from the hotel and back was 15 euros. It so happened that visiting by us notre-lady coincided with the celebration of the bright holiday of Easter and we were able to see the cathedral in his festive decoration, as well as enjoy excellent organ music. I recommend to visit this cathedral in the early morning when there are not so many believers and tourists.
Video and photography in the Notre Dame are allowed, but only in the "without flash" mode. During the excursion, the guide told in detail the history of the creation and reconstruction of this cathedral. Near the Cathedral there is a magnificent park in which you can make a wonderful walk. This excursion is best in my opinion, suitable for adults and young people, families with young children, it is unlikely to seem interesting. The cathedral has a small souvenir shop, as well as many souvenirs sold on the square. Prices for souvenirs are high, I recommend buying them in more distant places from the tourist center. While in the cathedral and on the square in front of him should not be lost vigilance, in a large stream of people there are many pockets. In general, the excursion really liked. I strongly recommend visiting it to all those planning to visit the French capital.
