In the beautiful old city of Yaroslavl there is an attraction, which is one of the brightest, although it is just just over 20 years old. This is the Museum Complex of John Mostoslavsky "Music and Time". And everything began with the fact that the founder is a circus artist, fond of collecting bells, pattephonic plates and other items of life of past years. Gradually, the collection broke up to such sizes, which formed several autonomous expositions - Museum "Music and Time", Museum of the Porcelain, Museum of Castinsky casting and samovarov. In addition, this database appeared the eponymous tour desk, a concert hall, various entertainment activities are held.
Located complex in about the middle of the famous Volzhskaya embankment in the house 33a, that is, not far from the city center. Works without days off from 10 to 19 hours. A common ticket for all three museums costs 500 rubles, and preferential 300 rubles. Approximately at the same prices it makes sense to order a tour. It is possible to buy tickets to each museum separately, but I would recommend a general one, because it is more profitable, and each exposition is interesting in its own way.
The most pleasant moment of the museum complex is its interactivity, that is, benevolent caretakers not only demonstrate many mechanisms (hours, gramophones, musical instruments) in action, but also allow you to do this to visitors. Photographing here is free, you can remove as much as you like in ancient interiors with museum objects in your hands.
A huge number of unique artifacts, an informal atmosphere and enthusiasm of the museum workers leave unforgettable impressions and give a visual understanding of the life of the previous generations of Russian and Soviet citizens. The project is actively developing. It is possible that innovations appeared, about which I am still unknown.
