Having visited Paris, I could not deny myself the pleasure to visit Royal Versailles. This interesting and informative excursion is ideal for those who want not only to see works of art, but also to plunge into the luxury of the Royal Palace and get acquainted with the most interesting moments of the history of the kings of France.
I visited this group excursion accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide, worth 30 euros. I advise you to book this excursion in advance, as the number of people in the group, according to the rules of the museum no more than 15 people. The excursion program is more suitable for adults and young people, families with children. This program will most likely be a bit tedious. The museums allowed the photo and video filming, but with a flash turned off. Observing this rule carefully observe the staff of the museum. During a walk through the palace, the guide told many interesting facts about the ruling circles of France of the past years, as well as focused on the most famous exhibits presented in museums.
I especially liked the canvas - "Coronation of Napoleon". I want to note that this excursion was carried out using individual headphones, which made it possible not to crowded about the guide in step proximity, but to move to a distance of 50-100 meters. The standard program, unfortunately, does not include a visit to the famous Versailles Park, but it can be visited for an extra in 12 euros. But, time for a walk is allocated very little, just about half an hour, which is certainly not enough to visit such a huge garden. The Versaille has a souvenir shop, in which numerous souvenirs can be purchased with the Museum's branded emblem, however, in my opinion the price is very high there, so I was limited to buying a magnet for 4 euros. Summing up, I want to say that the excursion really liked. In my opinion, this is one of the most informative excursions in Paris. I highly recommend all travelers who are just going to visit the capital of the World Fashion to pay a few hours of their time to visit Versailles.
