Many believe that there is nothing to do in the seaside resorts during the cold season. Italy is a bright exception to this rule. We went to Rimini on the autumn vacation and remained very satisfied.
Air
Italy in November is beautiful - a lot of sunny days, air temperature + 15 - 16, and sometimes rises to +20 degrees. You do not pull in this weather, although the sea is still quite warm, but the weather promotes long walks on the sea coast and natural inhalations by sea air. The high season is over, tourists are very small, and prices in hotels, cafes and in stores are pleasantly happy, even despite not the best euro rate.
Excursions
Rimini region offers a very rich excursion program. In Rome, I do not advise you, the road takes 6 hours there and the same back. For the sake of 4 hours in Rome, it is not worth it. Rome deserves a longer trip, we, for example, spent 10 days there and went for a couple of weeks. But excursions to Florence, Venice, in San Marino left the most pleasant memories. Especially recommended Florence. In the height of the summer heat in the medieval center of the city, it is unlikely to comfortably inspect the sights, and in the fall in a bright sunny day at + 20 - just the most suitable occupation. But with Venice, everything is not so rosy, if you get here in a rainy, cloudy day, then you will be somewhat disappointed. Like our Peter, in rainy weather, Venice is gray and gloomy, but on a sunny day the beauty of the city produces an indelible impression.
Shopping
Chief Center for Shopping - San Marino, Whole Country Duty Free. Thanks to duty-free trade, prices here are very attractive, though the goods need to carefully choose - a lot of fakes. Not far from Rimini there are several branded outlet, so take with you an extra suitcase, you can hardly stay without shopping.
Children
I am very advised to go to Rimini to the autumn vacation. In all parks of attractions, and they are somewhat in the Rimini area, Halloween celebrate and do it for a long time and with a scope. Holidays come from October 31 to November 4 inclusive. Fried chestnuts, free aquagrim, photo sessions and gifts to all small visitors to the park. My daughter was delighted!
